Fans of the rap superstar, Nasty C were left thoroughly entertained on Saturday during the Durban leg of the much talked about tour in history – The Ivyson tour.
Nasty C dedicated the tour to his late mother, Veliswa, who died when the rapper was only eleven months old. The title of this tour was also derived from Nasty C’s mother’s other name, Ivy hence, Ivyson.

According to Sunday Sun, the 21-year-old Durban born rapper said: “My mom left me when I was very young and sadly, I did not get the opportunity to know and bond with her when she was still alive”. He continued to add: “…But I communicate with her spiritually, I believe she guides me in everything I do, she is a good ancestor, and I will forever appreciate her”.
The Ivyson Tour has been nothing but fun for Nasty C who also shared how excited and almost close to tears his father was when he saw his son perform 'UOK' a song dedicated to his late mother at the first leg of the tour which took place in Durban over the weekend.
