It's award after award, plaque after plaque, recognition after recognition for Nasty C who has just scooped the first ever GQ Musician of the Year Award; proving to be a powerful voice in the entertainment industry.
There's no stopping 22-year-old and when he made Hell Naw, he meant every word it because there's no way he is quitting with all this success. After a successful year, Nasty C was named Musician of the Year.
“For the first time tonight, we will be hosting the inaugural GQ Men of the Year Awards in association with @hennessy at @thehoughtonhotel. The awards ceremony is a celebration of people who have made a considerable mark in their respective fields. 'South Africans habitually dominate every field they touch. With that in mind, we thought the time was right to create a new celebration, right here at home, to honour the achievements of the men and women who define our culture today and who propel us forward”, says Yati Khumalo, Editor-in-Chief of GQ South Africa.
