The 2019 Europe Music Awards are just around the corner and two of our very own have been nominated!
Prince Kaybee and Nasty C have both been nominated in the Best African Act category alongside Nigerian rapper Burna Boy; Tanzanian singer, songwriter Harmonize; Nigerian singer, songwriter Teni; and Togolese afro-pop group Toofan.
The BEST AFRICAN ACT category sees giants from all corners of the continent battle it out to claim the highly contested throne of Queen or King of African Music.
Previous winners in the Best African Act category are:

Prince Kaybee has had quite a successful year so far with over 81 million streams for his Re Mmino album and over 46 million Youtube views. The DJ also has over 122 000 Youtube subscribers and his ICARUS REMIX for Fetch Your Life has been performing pretty well in the UK.

Nasty C has also had a very impressive 2019. The rapper's Strings and Bling album has received a whooping total of 79 million streams and rated as the Top South African album on Apple Music! In fact, Nasty C reigns as the top South African Artist on Apple Music.
