After making headlines for all the right reasons this past weekend, Prince Kaybee (real name Kabelo Motsamai) has decided to keep the momentum going by turning his life around and stepping up to the plate as a father to his estranged child.
After months of trying to get him to do just that, the mother of his child decided to air her frustrations in the media when she spoke to Sunday World about his delinquency.
Except for a vague statement made to the media by his management team, Prince Kaybee, had remained mum about the situation, until recently when he took to Twitter to explain himself.
In a series of tweets sent out after his win at the 24th annual SAMAs, he explained how he doesn’t just want to be the “best male artist” but the best man he can be in all he does…
He stated that he wishes to “take full responsibility for not handling the “PapGeld” matter correctly.”
He went on to add that he and the mother of his child have since made peace and are currently co-parenting their child.
“This is not something I expect to be congratulated for but since I won BEST MALE for my music I would like to expand the meaning…” he added.
