Attracting people all over Ekurhuleni and neighboring cities, with an attendance rate of over 20 thousand people over the 3 days, Spring Break is an annual event filled with plenty of activities.

Consumers can socialize, play, and enjoy fun-filled activities with their families and squad, whilst listening to the biggest artists in the South African music industry.
 
The 3-Day event, which has been running for the past 4 years, is hosted by Raplyf Records and founded by accomplished rapper and creative Kwesta.

The event offers an array of entertainment, such as Boat Cruises, theme park for kids to enjoy and play, gaming station for all the gamers and tech enthusiast to indulge in the latest games and gadgets. The festival also offers a camping site which consumers can rent a space for the duration of the event. The camping site offers, tents, shower stations, security, 3 meals per day, charging stations; and the beauty of it is that it is close to all the festivities. With a child-friendly environment, the entire family can attend as a unit to enjoy the festivities in a safe and controlled entertainment setting. 
 
The event is set to take place in Germiston Lake, in the city of Ekurhuleni from 27 - 29 September.

The three days have been divided into various musical genres, which are Gqom vs Amapiano on Friday - the lineup includes Dj Tira, Distruction Boyz, Dj Maphorisa, Dj Sumbody, Kabza da Small, Da Mthuda, Kaygee Da King, BET award winner Sho Madjozi, to mention a few. The Hip Hop vs House on Saturday features Heavy K, Kwesta, Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rick, Sun-El Musician, Busiswa, Kid X and Black Motion. And finally, Sounds of Soul on Sunday (which is focused on AfroPop and Rnb) will feature Mafikizolo, Bucie, Donald, Mlindo the Vocalist, Berita, Encore, Thabsie and Glen Lewis.

Operating hours for the event are from 11am till 1am everyday.
