After having retired from the music industry, legendary gospel star Dr. Rebecca Malope, is set to exit her retirement to grace the TikTok stage for an hour-long performance to the global TikTok community.
Dr. Rebecca won the hearts of many people across the world with her angelic voice and stage presence. She gained prominence after she entered the 'Shell Road to Fame' music talent search in 1986, and she did not look back. She left no stone unturned to make her dreams come true and today, she remains a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Her career in music spanned over 3 decades and having released 36 chart breaking albums, sold millions of copies, and honored by institutions of higher learning. You would think that with all the success she’s garnered all these years Dr Rebecca Malope would be slowing down and marveling at her success, but nope! 

The singer is set to leave her fans in awe of her music in an iconic performance that will stream LIVE on TikTok from the TikTok South Africa page on Thursday 21 April 2022 from 19:00. 

When asked about the decision to return to her fans, Dr Malope shared:“Music will always form an integral part of my life. It is through the art of music that I could celebrate, mourn, travel and take my talent to the world. I felt that Easter was the perfect opportunity for me to perform again as I get to connect with my supporters over such a special time such as Easter as well as share my art with some of those who may have never had the opportunity to see me perform before.”
