Sometimes just making it to album number two can prove to be a major struggle for artists – but not for this one. Rebecca Malope can definitely teach some of these youngsters a thing or two about the music game. The gospel star has just released her 36th album, and by the looks of things, she not planning on stopping anytime soon.
The album, called “AmaVIP”, is meant to highlight the message that there are no VIP’s in heaven.
In an interview with the Sowetan, Malope tells of when she first realised she was a star. “After my first trip to Israel, that made me realise I was the real deal in the music industry.”
36 albums down the line, I would say I have to agree, this woman definitely is the real deal.
