TV actress Sannah Mchunu has finally achieved a long overdue milestone after years of hard work and dedication in the entertainment industry.

The actress who plays Zodwa on Mzansi Magic's hit soapie Gomora, has been receiving heaps of praises on social media for the amazing portrayal of her cahracter. Zodwa has become a fan-favorite in the show and recently many social media users said she is carrying the show on her shoulders.
TV actress is beaming with pride after she emerged victorious at the inaugural DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards (DStvMVCA) 2022. The prestigious awards ceremony was hosted on Saturday evening, at the Sun Arena in Pretoria.
Sannnah took home the Favorite Actress award and she couldn't contain her excitement. It was a tear-jerking moment when the actress accepted the award. She had a few words to say thanking Mzansi for the support
"You have performed miracles for me. I have never seen so much love. Thank you so much, I don't know what would I be without you," she wrote.
There were many winner at the awards. Seasoned actress Connie Ferguson bagged the Favourite Personality award and she penned a heartfelt message dedicated to her fans.
She thanked them for the continued love and support. “Last night was so special! Tired as I was I’m glad I dragged myself to the #dstvmvca to personally receive the #favoritepersonalityaward you so graciously voted for me to get!" she said.
"Thank you for your continued love and support! It’s such a blessing to wake up in the morning and go out to do what you love, what gives you purpose! But the bigger blessing is that it gets to be seen and appreciated by millions, and impact lives in one way or the other. God is good and Jesus is Lord! Forever grateful for His love, grace and mercy,” she continued.

Makhadzi also couldn't contain her excitement when she went on stage to accept her award. She even revealed that she asked to perform for free at the DSTVMCVA in 2020.
"I would like to thank DStv Mzansi Viewers Choice Awards for giving me a chance last of last year to perform on this stage, it was not easy because I asked and begged for free because I knew that one day God is going to answer," she said.
