As if that was not enough to fuel speculation, Sha Sha sent her fans into a frenzy. This was after pictures of her in a white wedding gown went viral online.
Social media users speculated that she had gotten married to a mysterious man, while others suspected that it was a music video shoot. After remaining mum on the topic, the singer has finally set the record straight.
The BET award-winning star said she is not engaged, “I fooled you guys, hey? I am not engaged,” she said, showing off her hand.
Sha Sha said she is single and ready to mingle “I am not married. I am not engaged. I am already getting date requests in my DMs. So one of y'all might be lucky. We might just go for dinner or something.”It has become a norm for celebs to share pull stunts when they want to promote their music videos in order to gain traction online. As ZAlebs reported in early 2021, Tino Chinyani caused a stir online after he shared photos of himself at what appeared to be his wedding.
The model was dressed in a sharp black tuxedo and his dashing “bride” who happened to be model Sadia Sallie, was dressed in a beautiful wedding gown and had a bouquet of flowers to go with it.
As the pictures went viral, netizens couldn’t help but make conclusions and while some concluded that the handsome television personality had gotten married secretly, others just didn’t buy it and thought it was a prank.
While Tino did not deny or confirm the speculations, his “bride” Sadia Saddie took to Twitter to address the wedding pictures and revealed that she definitely did not get married.
In her statement, she revealed that she had been contacted as a model but had been kept in the dark about the nature of the photoshoot until she got there where she was told to pretend and act like the wedding was hers and although she wasn’t very comfortable with the whole arrangement, she felt intimidated and played along.
She further expressed her distaste at the use of her photos for a publicity stunt without seeking her consent.
“I don’t consent to the narrative being pushed. I just went in there to do my job and I wish my voice was respected as a woman to have kept everything very professional. I was told “the controversy is good for the boutique and brand “ but it’s not good for my brand. I want no parts.” She wrote.
When ZAlebs contacted Tino, he refused to comment.
