Sho Madjozi and Nasty C are two of South African music’s proudest ambassadors right now. The two young artists are on the road to global stardom and have enjoyed commercial and charting success in 2018. They’re now going to be honoured as part of Apple Music and Beats 1 Radio’s one-hour special dedicated to African Music.
If you’re familiar with Apple Music, the streaming platform boasts some well-curated playlists, including a series known as the “A-List” which, as the name suggests, features some of the best artists of that genre.
This year saw the creation of an African A-List for the first time and it's with great pride that we saw some of SA’s biggest stars on the roster. And now they will be getting the global spotlight they deserve.
Along with African artists such as Wurld, Mr Eazi and several others, Sho Madjozi and Nasty C will be featured in the official A-List: African Music 1 hour mix which will be played on Beats 1 Radio this Saturday.
We’re predicting that they will play Nasty C’s Jungle and Sho Madjozi’s Huku, among many of the thumping afrobeat sounds that will certainly have audiences dancing on the night.
If you want an idea of the music that will be played during the one-hour mix, you can add the playlist to your Apple Music Libary today.
