Sho Madjozi is not letting the Burna Boy issue die down anytime soon. The BET nominee said she is not intimidated by Burna and outed him for being a bully.
A few days before the BET Awards, Sho accused Burna of sabotaging her by having their collaboration with UK rapper Stormzy taken down from streaming services.
Burna denied any foul play on his part saying the song might have been flagged as it was probably not cleared by the record label.
Sho did not buy his explanation and has continued taking shots at Burna. She recently spoke to Scoop Makhathini and Bontle Modiselle on their YFM show that she believes the music industry in Africa is flawed by people who want to dominate and be that one shining star, whereas there is space for everyone.
"I know that, like, he is a bully. It is that thing of gatekeeping in this industry, as if there can only be one African superstar on a global platform. I don’t believe in that at all, there is enough space for everyone," she said.
Burna Boy has reached 'international' status and because of that she is not intimidated by him as she is also an international star.
It is known that Burna does not tweet for himself and according to the John Cena star, she alleges it's because of his behavior that they do not allow him to use his own Twitter.
"They don’t even let him tweet for himself because they know how he is. Everything you see about me out there is me. I write it. I stand for what I stand for and I will always say things how they are. At the end of the day, I am not scared of anyone. They are a person, I am a person. Just because you are on an international level, so are we," she concluded.
Sho was nominated alongside Burna and Stormzy for Best International Act, and it was awarded to Burna.
A nomination for her was big enough and thanked the organisation for acknowledging her work.
