Award-winning musician, Sjava has always kept true to his African roots when it comes to music and fashion.
His general sound and aesthetics paint a picture of a man that is confident in his original and creative presentation of his artistry.
The uMama hit-maker is constantly on that career advancement tip, therefore it came as no surprise when he recently announced on social media that he is fiercely fishing for information on how one goes about submitting their body of work at the Grammy's.
The 35-year-old musician is not too far off from a Grammy association. Amongst other Mzansi musicians, Sjava was selected to lend his musical talent on Kendrick Lamar's soundtrack for blockbuster film, Black Panther - which actually went on to win a Grammy last year.
Award - wise, Sjava has already scooped one of the most prestigious international awards- Black Entertainment Television (BET) award last year. This propelled him to a greater seat at elite tables.
During his international run last year, Sjava managed to secure an interview at relevant platforms including radio station, Hot97 and a performance on YouTube music channel COLORS.
...And as he would sing: "uNkunkulu emuhle njalo, uzongipha amandla.'' Which is loosely translated: ''God is forever faithful, he shall grant me the strength."
We certainly hope the universe would corroborate with Sjava in achieving this dream.
