RAPPER SOLO shares new music with fans with the release of Promises featuring Kwesta.
After dropping the artwork to his upcoming album, which is set to be released in September 2019, Solo returns with a follow up single ahead of spring!
The new single released on Monday, and produced by Buks, showcases Solo’s ability to continuously incorporate a rap verse on a classic hip hop beat with a kwaito sound from the multi-talented producer.
This melodic body of work derived from a childhood rhyme, sees Kwesta deliver another punchy verse that compliments Solo’s effortless flow and timeless rap skills.
Promises is the second single from Solo’s upcoming studio album – C Plenty Dreams - which is set for release on 20 September 2019.
“Promises speaks to the responsibilities that we have for our circles. Whether elected or inherent, there are promises that we are expected to deliver on for those we love.” Solo said about the track.
Speaking on the collaboration with Kwesta, Solo went to add: “From the number of discussions I have had with Kwesta, this is something we both agree on and it continues to be evident at this stage of our lives. The song has an undeniable bounce to it, courtesy of Buks. Great minds came together for this one.”
Promises has been available for streaming and download on all digital platforms and stores from 23 August 2019
