Solomon Sebothoma is one multi talented young man who not only has the looks, but the brains of the business, in fact, he is one of the brains behind the success of rapper Cassper Nyovest’s record breaking event #FillUpFnbStadium.
Actor Solomon might be playing lead on SABC 2’s series Keeping Score, but he’s not a foreign face when it comes to your favourite soapies that have kept you locked to your screen - you might even remember him from Generations in 2013 or even The road.
In a recent interview on Metro FM’s Fresh Breakfast Show speaking to Dj Fresh, Solomon revealed that he has directed Fill Up Orlando and Fill Up FNB.
“A team called formative produced Fill Up Orlando, I show-called, which is basically a technical director, I just get to call the ques...that’s what I did for Fill Up FNB” he said
And as much as he might call it a daunting experience, the actor is very familiar with the events space as he holds a BA degree in Live performance and has been doing eventing and acting ever since his second year of varsity in order to pay his tuition.
“I started eventing and acting at about my second year to pay for tuition, so I’ve been doing it since 2002 and I’ve always been preparing for it...Cassper is also involved in all the elements”
Besides his parents not being willing to pay for his tuition as they instilled an independent spirit in him from a young age, the actor has built himself an impressive career and he says he’s looking forward to broadening his career even further.
“In 2018 I want to look more into more productions...we've shot already for next year, there's about three productions that are coming out. I want to get back to producing television and producing events..."
