So far the tour has graced the streets of Mthatha and just recently Rustenburg with many crossing their fingers in anticipation that Somizi tours their town next.
It goes without saying that Somizi always has a way with the crowd and always manages to make our hearts swell with joy whenever he takes on the mic. And who better than the residents of Rustenburg to attest to this truth.
Somizi took to his Instagram to share the love and support he got from Rustenburg and fans have been flooding his comment section with messages of admiration and encouragement. During the tour to Rustenburg, Somizi held a book signing of his book, Dinner at Somizi’s and not only that, fans got a chance to pose for a photo with Somizi as well as share a meal with him and yes, two complimentary cocktails for all those who attended.
During this tour, Somizi also gives his fans a chance to ask him any questions and give him advice as they please. What seems to have not only captured the hearts of fans but more so that of Somizi as well was when one of the attendees at the event stood up to share what he thought of Somizi.
The gentleman who is clearly an avid follower and fan of Somizi went on to say how much he was happy to know and have met the TV star, mentioning that Somizi was and is the true definition of resilience and power. Somizi who recorded the whole speech from his phone is heard laughing while saying thank you to the man’s kind words and gesture, definitely smitten and at a loss of words.
Sharing the speech on his Instagram with a heartfelt caption of gratitude, his legion of fans have echoed the gentleman’s sentiments adding that Somizi truly is a blessing to many and that he needed to hear such kind words after everything he has been through. Fans have named Somizi a powerhouse that never runs out of power and an individual with an equally powerful aura and vibe.
There is no denying that the people of Rustenburg had a great time with Somgaga. The #eatlovepraywithsomizi retreat tour is set to happen next in Centurion this week from Friday the 12th to Sunday the 14th of November at the River Meadow Manor. Tickets are selling at R750 and being a limited event, first come, first served. Fans can look forward to a motivational talk from Somizi, Spiritual crossings as well as a good time and of course delicious food.
So far only three cities have been confirmed as venues for the #eatpraylovewithsomizi tour with fans from all over the country already suggesting their towns to be considered as the next stopover for Somizi and who blames them, if we’ve learnt anything from the last two cities, fans are guaranteed to have a great time.
