Tbo Touch has mobilised the masses on his latest endeavour. His aim is to clean up public dump sites in his hometown of Sharpeville.

The radio legend made the announcement as far back as October that he will engage with the Mayor of Sharpeville, Busisiwe Modisakeng, but he was not looking for any tender deals. The media mogul has announced in video that he is ready to come to Sharpeville to make good on his promise.

The one-time head of Konvict Africa said that they are planning on changing the landscape of parks around the area. “We are turning every dumping site into a park. I want the kids of Sharpeville to experience what I experienced you know, playing soccer, clean air. And, we're gonna clean our space, us, the people of Sharpeville. The people of the Vaal, the people of Gauteng, and the people of South Africa,” he said in a video.

Touch plans to turn every public dumping site into a park where kids can play freely. He continued to say that he will be there in Sharpeville with ten thousand refuse bags, twenty thousand gloves and all the cleaning equipment necessary to get the job done. He touched on the need for South Africans to think for themselves as we are a strong brand and stand up to take action. He goes on to say that he is very excited that he is coming back home and the goal is to make sure that every dumping site is clean enough for children to play on.

The Touch HD owner mentions how children need clean spaces in order to have clean minds, “when your space is clean, your mind is clean.” He has called on everybody in Sharpeville and beyond to join him and the rest of his volunteers as they go about cleaning up Sharpeville for the children to have spaces to play and grow. The drive starts at Sharpeville on Thursday, 13 December.
