Thando Thabete is in a great mood.
The TV and radio personality will join Somizi Mhlongo as the host of the SAMAs (South African Music Awards).
The event, which takes place in Durban on Saturday, will be honouring some of the country's top musicians.
Thando made the announcement on social media.
She wrote: "Good morning it's official, so happy to FINALLY announce that I will be your host for the 22nd annual South African Music Awards alongside the crazy @somizi..."
This is great news. Congrats to both of you!
Past SAMAs hosts include Trevor Noah, HHP, Bonang Matheba, and Phat Joe.
