South African actress, Thuso Mbedu came back home for a brief trip to attend the private screening of 'The Woman King' hosted by Nedbank.

In an Instagram post, the breakout star wrote 'Everyone thinks I am crazy that I flew 21 hours to be in SA for 48 hours and then leave again on another 21 hour flight. But getting to watch @womankingmovie and spend the evening with amazing women made all that worth it! Seeing @Nedbank shining a spotlight on the force that is woman and acknowledging her contribution to the female economy and encouraging us to #Celebr8HerStory was magical.'

Despite the criticism received by some, Thuso Mbedu was excited for the event and enjoyed the empowering experience brought by Nedbank.
After the screening of 'The Woman King', Thuso Mbedu shared a conversation with Buli Ndlovu and Lizzie Mogale from Nedbank about the female economy. This is a cause very close to the actress's heart.
