She's more than just a media personality and musician. Unathi Msengana is also quite a savvy businesswoman who has a lot to offer.
You would think that after her morning drive show on Metro FM alongside Glen Lewis, Melanie Bala and Owen Honey, Unathi probably just goes to the gym and then spends the rest of her day visiting friends and later on prepping for the following days show.
Not at all, in a recent interview with True Love magazine, Unathi revealed that she is quite the business savvy woman. We were quite impressed to also find out that the mother of two is actually a shareholder of Lucky Bean, a production company responsible for shows like MasterChef SA, Suvivor and Girl Eat World, to name a few.
Unathi told the publication that she actually took out a loan that cost a substantial amount to buy the stakes into the business and has since paid back the millions she loaned.
The Idols judge, who admits that she's not a person who is fond of speaking about herself added that she is very good when it comes to handling money and that her and her husband, Thomas Msengana, paid for their wedding in cash.
"I'm very good with money. I live off my Metro FM salary and save as much as I can from it. I don't touch money that comes from my gigs, performances, royalties and even Idols. I save and allocate. My father taught me to be wise with money. Thomas and I paid for our wedding in cash. We came back from our honeymoon with not a cent and no debt." Said Unathi
Throughout this couple of years, we've seen Unathi take us on her weight loss journey as she achieves amazing results with every gym picture she takes of herself and according to her the journey has not ended
