Anyone who has been on the quest for clear skin, knows that you’re going to have to try a million different things before finding out what works perfectly for you. Whether it’s dry, oily or sensitive everybody’s skin is different so each approach has to be tailored.
Which is why natural products are the best thing to try in this regard as they have a high chance of being effective without posing the risk of too much damage. Check out these five natural remedies to try out for clearer skin.
1. Turmeric, raw milk/greek yogurt, honey
You will need:
- 1 teaspoon (tsp) of turmeric
- 3 tsps of raw milk/greek yogurt (full fat/unflavoured)
- 1 tsp of raw honey
Raw milk is unpasteurized milk that has been expressed straight from the cow. It’s more yellow than pasteurised milk but it is important to note that the colour, and flavour, will change throughout the year, depending on what the cow is eating. It is also creamier than pasteurized milk.
How to use:
- Turmeric can stain the fingers (and give the skin a yellow tint if left on for too long) so apply it using an old makeup brush or a cotton ball. Do not apply on/around the eyes and mouth
- Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes
- Rinse off and moisturise the skin as per usual
2. Cinnamon, honey, aloe vera
*Do not use on sensitive skin
You will need:
