Mac G together with Sol Phenduka and the Ghost Lady host the podcast with the most subscribers in the country, Podcast And Chill with Mac G. Their last episode saw them talking about last week's occurrences which saw the deaths of three public figures, Dr. Sindi Van Zyl, American rapper DMX and AKA's fiancΓ© Nelli Tembe.

After talking about that and other hot topics, Mac G made an announcement which saw him trending at the top on social media. The three shot their latest celebrity episode and it is the legendary Zola 7. But that's not the only huge announcement, the episode will be broadcast on Sterkinekor cinemas in three major cities in the country.

"As you all know right we did an iconic interview with Zola 7, so we hit up our good friends at Sterkinekor and we are going to premier the Zola 7 interview in Durban, Cape Town and Joburg."

The never been done before move, will see the interview with the legend broadcast on these movie theatres on 29 April 2020. These include Gateway in Durban, Tiger Valley in Cape Town and Sandton which is in Johannesburg.

Tweeps went crazy when this announcement was made seeing how epic it really is. "Cancel culture was a blessing in disguise. MacG literally documenting black history with or without sponsors. Also creating jobs! Well done," a tweep congratulated.

Another wrote, "One thing about MacG is that he is definitely being pushed to being more independent... More of a leader! More of a person to own his own things! If he continues to hide behind brands and radio stations. He will keep getting burnt! So happy for this opportunity for him!"
The podcast keep on growing as per his announcement last week, radio and TV personality Bujy Bikwa will be joining the team. His contract with Metro FM has ended after 3 years of being with the station. The DJ revealed that he will be working on his very own podcast under Mac G's and will be about everything gay and about uplifting the LGBTQI community. He described it as a "queer lifestyle galore!"
