South Africa's golden boy, Trevor Noah will host the MTV Africa Music Awards on October 22 in Johannesburg.
The South African comedian and host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" will be home in Johannesburg to host the 6th edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards, Africa's most prestigious music awards ceremony.
Noah said "I am a huge fan of African music and achievement, and it's going to be a massive pleasure celebrating them both at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2016."

Previous hosts of these awards include Wyclef Jean, Eve, Marlon Wayans, Anthony Anderson and Trevor Nelson.
