Then again, we kind of expected it to be as live as it was considering that the line-up was what it was. I mean, come on.
The festivities began at 13:00 every morning and had people lining up outside the gate even before start time. When people got to the gate they were given tags to get drinks and food.
Soon as you got in, you had the option of getting to know the new Polo Vivo better through the endless activities.
The new Polo Vivo is all about creating new experiences and meeting new people while enjoying the ride. Our #SpeedMingling activation gives fans the opportunity to do just that! Only two minutes to ask the right questions and give the right answers. #VIVOnation #VWlive pic.twitter.com/VVt59vNoke— VolkswagenSA (@VolkswagenSA) March 11, 2018
Or just rush over to the main stage. Which is what we did. DJ Doowap started the Vivo affair with a mix of old school kwaito and Gqom.
After her, the performances began and Kyle Deutsch set it off nicely singing the modern classic 'Back to the beach' and his own hits.
After he was done mesmerizing the crowd Lady Zamar took to the stage and reminded us why she's been called the new age Queen of House.
Then the Kiffness came on and dropped some wild electric tunes to the crowds amazement

Kwesta also came through and killed his set with his killer band.
AND then and ONLY then did Mufasa come out and get the crowd going
He also premiered a new song titled 'K'sazoba lit' which he got the crowd to sing and get into. Possibly the next Tito Mboweni.
All in all a great time was had and people were brought into the #Vivonation in style. Maybe VW should launch a new Citi Golf, I mean, it'd be cool to have a #Citination. Yes? No?
