Sharing her experience with her fans, Zozi posted a picture with a caption: “I had the pleasure of presenting an award at the @latinamas! I was told to expect a good time by the Latin American community so I acted accordingly and put on a sheer, sparkly @christiancowan dress and arrived! About the fun? They didn't lie! As a result, RIP to my feet from the heels and dancing (horribly if I might add.”
Zozibini recently took to her social media platforms to celebrate the first transgender woman to ever compete at Miss Universe Angela Ponce.
“Celebrating the first-ever transgender woman to compete at Miss Universe on this International Transgender Day of Visibility. The ever beautiful @angelaponceofficial You did that!! They must never forget,” she wrote.

Angela Ponce is a Spanish model, she was also the first openly transgender woman to be crowned Miss Spain back in 2018.
Zozi also added that: “I just recently learnt that violence against trans people has surged 266 percent from last year. They deserve to live a life as humane, happy, and free as any other person. Stop with the violence! I’m gonna say this in case it has not been clear. Trans rights are human rights.
“I intentionally turned the comments off on this post because I could already see the transphobic comments coming in and we don’t do that here on my page. I won’t give you the space to be hateful. We operate on love here. Have a good day #trangenderdayofvisibility.”
Zozi has made history as the longest-reigning Miss Universe. She was crowned Miss Universe back in 2019. In 2020, the pageant was put on hold due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking about her future plans, Zozi told Sunday Times that her plans include venturing into the music industry.
“I’ve come to fall in love with music all over again. I’ve always loved music but I never thought it would be something I would pursue as a career. I feel like music is a space I want to occupy next. I’m fascinated by television as well, so people will definitely find me there too. Humanitarian work is also close to my heart, something I’m hoping to continue,” she told the publication.
