Many of us met Annie Mthembu when she was cast on the first season of the Real Housewives of Durban and since her time on the show, the media personality has been enjoying her newfound fame.
On The Real Housewives of Durban, the character that Annie portrays is mostly a no-nonsense straight-talking figure but some consider her the villain of the show.
Over the past two seasons, the choreographer and businesswoman has found herself in hot water for some of the remarks she has made. In the first season of the show, fans criticized her for not knowing how to speak Isizulu when she is married to a Zulu man and has kids who also speak the language.
Despite the drama on the show, Annie's personal life is seemingly intact, after filming the first season of The Real Housewives of Durban, Annie and her long-term partner tied the knot in a luxurious ceremony and although she had made new friends on the reality show that made her a star, none of them were invited to her wedding.
A couple of days ago, Annie and her husband celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Taking to Instagram, Annie quoted Kanye West's lyrics to celebrate her special day, "We’re on an ultralight beam, this is a God Dream Happy Anniversary my Light. May God deliver us serenity. Deliver us peace. Deliver us loving. Always. I love you." Take a look at the post below:
Tbose also took to his Instagram to celebrate his anniversary by posting a throwback picture of him and his wife of 20 years.
Basetsana and Romeo Kumalo also celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary recently and taking to Instagram, the businesswoman penned a heartfelt tribute to her husband, "Twenty one years later, I will still choose you, marry you, have your babies, build a life with you and make the most beautiful memories. But then that’s exactly what you have given me and given us. Thank you for your unwavering devotion and love for me and our children. You have made it so easy to love you all these years.
