A Facebook group protesting the elimination of twin 'Idols SA' contestants Anele and Neliswa Mxakaza over the weekend has received more than 63 000 likes in just three days.

The 'Bring Back Idols Durban SA twins Campaign' page was created on Sunday, after episode 7 of the show in which judges Randall Abrahams, Gareth Cliff and Unathi Msengana completed the daunting task of cutting the existing 33 hopefuls down to just 16.

Bringing the twins back would be a fundamental breach of the competition's rules but the fans are interested with some attacking the judges.

Sithembiso Joburg unathi cant even sing to save her life, and garreth only know how to speak bullshit on tge radio and as for mr crus yena i dnt know whats his problem, they need to be replaxed by people who actually know what talent is and have passion for music

Khaya Hatile +65000 can never be all wrong. The reason Idol winners never really make it outside the competition is that the 3 judges think they know best what SA good music lovers want and most, if not all the time, they get it wrong. We WANT the twins back in the competition. We will decide if and when they must leave!

Tsholofelo Sekgobela Maguzaza unathi was able to run after lee-ron but she couldn't fight for twins?! Wow I'm so disappointed in her bcz she convinced rendal and gareth about bringing back lee-ron, nw he made it to top 16 bcz unathi believed he can do it.. But she cudnt fight 4 twins. this is heart breaking.. Unathi cc u are just like rendal shame, I dnt care who says what.. This is why mara-low left idols»RACISM nd unathi is part of it now

Gareth Cliff is not feeling the twin love however and said a big no to the request on Twitter.
