TV actor and radio host Bujy Bikwa, continues to secure the bag even after being canceled, and Mzansi is not impressed.


The DJ is trending on Twitter once again, after a video of him playing at a gig has gone viral. In the video we can see the likes of dancer Lebo Molax and DJ Olwee rocking the dance floor with the crowd. Bujy then appears and he is seen rocking the turntables.

Many people thought the video was a whole mood, since everyone seemed to be having fun, but when Bujy appeared they stopped watching. A quick look at Bujy's Twitter account shows that he has been booked and busy as he plays at clubs and eve. Many people asked why he continued to get booked while he was canceled.

The rapper filed a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm against him. The two apparently had an altercation that turned physical at a hotel in Midrand. 

According to reports, Boity sustained facial injuries after a bottle of alcohol was thrown at her. She was hospitalized after the incident and decided to lawyer up against Bikwa. She demanded R1 Million for the injuries she sustained during the brawl and also demanded an extra R20 000 for her medical bills.

In a twist of events, Bujy also filed a counter-case of assault against Boity saying both of them were guilty. “I also opened a counter case of common assault against the culprit for physically attacking me and after being in pain from the injuries I sustained for seven days, being held in police custody, I have received medical attention and have filed my medical records towards my counter case,” he shared.

Bujy Bingwa was recently featured in a 3 part documentary series by MTV Shuga called 'What Makes a Man. Many people were unhappy that he and Big Zulu were going to be part of doccie.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Ayanda Makayi, executive producer of the documentary, explained the reasoning behind casting them. “The fact that they are alleged perpetrators just simply took our conversation deeper. It made our conversation richer. It meant that we are now bringing people into the room that will have a bigger impact in contributing towards change.” he said.

“There are other perpetrators out there who want a voice in this conversation and if we're not going to have some that represent them in the conversation then we're not doing this conversation justice,” he told the publication.
