Showmax's original telenovela The Wife viewers are not impressed by the funeral of Nqobizitha Zulu played by Abdul Khoza.

This week, avid watchers of the show had to bid farewell to Nqoba. His funeral took place in Johannesburg, and while many expected it to be a luxurious send-off, it left tweeps unimpressed.

Viewers have taken to the blue app to express how unhappy they are with the low-budget funeral. A Twitter user asked why he was buried in Johannesburg instead of Mbumba, KwaZulu-Natal, where his brothers were buried.

@Iamzwide1 tweeted "I think we can agree that, that funeral was disgraceful and Nqoba was very much disrespected. He would have appreciated a Mbuba funeral."

Tweeps say Nqoba deserved a dignified funeral and others dragged Mandisa for wreaking havoc at Nqoba's funeral.
Abdul recently bid farewell to the show and thanked everyone for the support "I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has shown me love and overwhelming support on The Wife. I will always love you, but I would also like to apologize to those who are hurt by my departure," he wrote.

According to him, he couldn't make any recommendations on how long his character would last, "Unfortunately no actor writes their own character story, so please understand that I cannot change or influence any show to keep any of my characters once they have written their story," he continued.
