Anele Mdoda had some choice words for Radio 2000 presenter, Phat Joe, after her breakfast rival appeared to throw a jibe in her direction earlier today.

It was just a calm and quiet Wednesday morning until Phat Joe lent his opinion on one of this week's biggest stories: that Anele Mdoda would be judging this year's Miss South Africa pageant which takes place on Friday the 9th of August. The news broke on Tuesday and Anele, who will be judging alongside Connie Ferguson and several other key personalities, was excited to be on the judging panel for one of the country's most prestigious events but she was not without her critics - including controversial presenter, Phat Joe.

The DJ, who is fresh from his most recent suspension, suggested that Anele Mdoda was not of the right "fit" to be judging a beauty pageant. The Phat Joe and the Family host joked that she was on the panel to fill the "affirmative action" quota. Without saying it directly, it appeared as if Phat Joe was making subliminal comments about Anele's weight, and many followers were quick to see through this.

Once Anele caught wind of the comments, the 947 host quickly retaliated on social media by calling out Phat Joe for his unsavoury comments.
We have to take a moment to highlight how impressive this was because she was currently on air presenting her own breakfast show while dragging Phat Joe at the same time!

She began by commenting, "Phat Joe is so obsessed with me. Like a dog barking at cars that won’t ever stop :) he should concentrate on being at a radio gig longer than 5 min."

This was enough to make anybody regret their words but Anele was just getting started.

After entertaining the masses, the E! Presenter left a parting shot and you could practically hear the Mortal Kombat fight announcer yelling "Finish Him!" when she added:

"Also Phat Joe I have judged Miss SA for 4 years now and picked a damn Miss World. My beauty has nothing to do with whether I can see beauty or not. Do me a favor and say that shit to my face the next time you scrape an invite to something relevant."

With that being said, Phat Joe's fans did not watch this go down quietly. A number of Tweeps have defended the DJ by claiming that not only was he misquoted, but also that Phat Joe's critics were being too "sensitive".

All we can say is that, kuLit, between these two radio superstars right now...
