Former Generations actor Anga “Naak Musiq” Makubalo reportedly left fans disappointed and frustrated in Port Elizabeth.

This comes after the singer apparently failed to pitch for three shows over the weekend.

Mninawa Mbombo, owner of Platinum Lounge in Zwide township, told Daily Sun that the venue was almost destroyed when fans went on the rampage, demanding that their R50 cover charge be refunded.

He told the paper that Anga was due perform at 10pm on Sunday night.

“About 3,000 fans were waiting to see him. They started throwing bottles when he didn’t arrive,” Mbombo explained.

Mninawa said he paid Anga R20,000 for his performance and spent R7,500 on travel costs and accommodation.

According to the paper, an even bigger crowd was waiting for the singer in another part of Port Elizabeth.

Club owner Sebastian said there were about 5,000 people there.

“The last time I spoke to him was when he was confirming his arrival time at PE Airport. I never heard from him again.” He apparently paid Anga R15,000 and spent an extra R7,000 in additional costs.

It gets worse... the singer reportedly also didn’t show up at yet another event in Uitenhage.

Anga told Daily Sun: “I have already explained everything I needed to. I’ve been answering questions the whole day from people who shouldn’t have my number. This is my personal space.”

The singer apparently had issues with flights.
