It's probably even more disappointing than her not winning a SAMA this year.
Media reports are stating that Babes Wodumo who has been nominated in the Best International: Africa category is struggling to secure her travel visa to the United States for the 2017 BET Awards to be held on Monday, 25 June.
According to IOL a source from the American Embassy office in Durban revealed to the publication that Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha appeared at the embassy on Tuesday to apply for the travel visa.
However, applying for a U.S Visa is a bit of an extensive process that involves applying for an interview that can only be granted through an appointment that can only be scheduled 60 days before the travel date is possible.
Babes Wodumo fans have been experiencing heart palpitations at the thought of Babes Wodumo missing out on her first international trip where she could possibly win an award.

The source further revealed that Babes' manager has approached prominent individuals in Durban to assist Babes in getting a visa. Organizers of the BET Awards, Viacom International Media Networks Africa are also aware of the predicament Babes is in and are pulling all their resources to help Babes secure her travel requirements in a speedy manner.
However, the American Embassy has stated that special interviews are only granted to VIP's whereas Babes only falls under the category of normal citizens.
Meanwhile, fellow BET nominee and Durbanite, Nasty C is out in New York living his best life ahead of the awards.
Hopefully, Babes will be granted a visa just in time to attend the awards.
