The Imali Eningi hit-maker has received heaps of praise on social media for the diss song. There is no denying that Hip-Hop can be summed up as a 'dog eat dog world' because everyone is trying to get to the top. When it comes to diss songs, our artists know how to bring it on, and Big Zulu did not back down when he called out a few industry mates.
A couple of industry peers were not spared his harsh words when the musician spoke. It seems the singer had been bottling up a lot of emotions inside, and he vented them out.
Big Zulu dissed Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Slik Talk, and Stogie T's careers and called out a few who think they are untouchable in the industry. He says he is not scared of them all.
It's unclear whether he is beefing with his industry mates but the diss song tells a thousand words. Big Zulu said he wouldn't be dissing any family but he would be firing shots at the renowned artists.
Addressing Cassper Nyovest aka Mufasa Big Zulu stated that Cassper is a kid to him"Angiqale ngawe ngob ngathu uyaspida, usasemnance Mufasa kimi awuhlukile no Simba (Let me start with you because you are too forward, you are too young and to me, you are like Simba," he sings in the lyrics.
Big Zulu claims he is a God in the industry and everyone is making him famous. He says his booking fee is R100 000 while others charge R25 000.
Next on Big Zulu's radar was Emtee and Stogie Tee, he dissed Emtee about his Mercedes-Benz tattoo on his neck "Ungangitsheli ngo Stogie T, I Mercedez Ise ntanyeni kodwa ama garage a Emtee" (Don't tell about Stogie T, the Mercedez is on his neck but the garages are Emtee."
He continued "Who is Stogie T and what has he done that all of us have heard about." He also came for Ambitiouz Entertainment which has been accused of exploiting artists, "I am ambitious and hungry I am exploiting artists
The award-winning artist further fired shots at AKA and K.O, "AKA and K.O the last time I heard you guys were running Jozi where are y'all running because the Comrade marathon is over," he says in the lyrics.
Big Zulu said he is not beefing anyone. His song was released because he heard Hip Hop was dead and wanted to prove it wasn't. Additionally, he promoted his upcoming song featuring Nasty C and Patoranking.
Tweeps have reacted to the diss song.
