Black Motion confirms legal action against MurdahBongz

Back in December 2022, leading gossip Instagram account Maphephe Ndaba alleged that Black Motion was taking legal action against Mörda. In the supporting article by The Sunday World  explained the extenuating circumstances of the legal matter by reporting

Black Motion’s split has turned ugly after their boss opened a case of housebreaking and theft against the duo’s former member Bongani “ Murdah” Mahosana at Olievenhoutbosch police station, north of Johannesburg, on Thursday.

Moses Nkia Mokgoko, who owns Black Motion’s record label, popularly known as Spirit Motion, alleged Murdah, who recently left the duo to pursue a solo career, broke into their Centurion house, which they use as an office and studio, on Thursday and took studio monitors, a television set, computer hard drives and mixing desk.

According to a source who is close to the artists, Murdah vacated the property, bought by him, fellow member Thabo “Smol” Mabogwane and Mokgoko, and went to live with his girlfriend and the mother of his child, DJ Zinhle.

Now, Black Motion has taken to social media to confirm that it has taken legal action for the alleged crimes previously speculated against Mörda.

Murdah Bongz shares “response” to Black Motion drama

Wife to Mörda, DJ Zinhle was the first to respond following Black Motion confirming that Mörda has been held liable to restore the possessions he took illegally from the Spirit Motion studios.

This is as the Umlilo hitmaker made it clear she would not be responding to allegations that she is behind the messy split. However, that she would be promoting her Era by DJ Zinhle brand in light of trending.

Mörda, in his response, chose not to directly respond to the matter. However, he did make it clear that he is moving on from the drama and focusing on what makes him happy and that is music.
As such, he revealed that while Black Motion was spending the day celebrating their victory in court. He on the other hand was working on completing the album by his friend and Idols SA alum Brendan Praise. One post seemed to mock the matter of him stealing Spirit Motion’s monitor, speakers and mixer as he shared an Instagram story with similar equipment in the video.
As such, it seems that the hopes for a reconciliation in the future is not something that fans of the legendary duo can expect. As such, the social media “mourning” for the original duo is understandable as many have taken to the socials to express their disappointment in light of the turn of events.
