He's considered as one of the sexiest men in the industry right now, the man has come a long way and his journey is a testament to him not just being a pretty face as he holds a great qualification…

In a recent interview with Afternoon express, Bohang opened up about his journey as a Mr. South Africa finalist back in 2013, saying that though he may not have won, he took away great friends and lessons.

“I think for me, what it taught me, was learning to expose myself in terms of putting myself out there to follow what I want. It taught me the importance of being brave, and allowing yourself to be in that vulnerable position when you’re following your dreams, so that’s pretty much what I got out of it, I got friends that I still keep from then so that’s great…”

Speaking about his studies Bohang revealed that - like every young person - at some point, he didn’t know what he wanted to do, but settled for property because his father was in that field of the industry at the time.

“I studied quantity surveying, it’s a crazy transition from that to acting,  when I started off studying, I didn’t even know what it was...it was one of those things where my parents were like: ‘You need to study, get a real job’ And at the time I had no idea what I wanted to do, like most kids.

So I had sort of an interest in property, and I was like, my dad was in construction, so let me just do something that's in that kind of field. I Did well in school actually, but when it came for the time to do the job, I hated it, I was completely miserable every single day...so that’s where I was for like, two years, almost.”

Bohang went on to add that he was happy to have found himself in entertainment and looks forward to making the most of it as he puts in the work.

“...during that time when I was working, I started taking acting classes, and I think it was the first class I was in and I was like: ‘This is exactly it...I felt like I was in the right place, doing the right thing. It’s a feeling you can’t explain, I couldn’t get enough of it, and I just knew then and there that this is what I wanna do...if I put in the work, I invest in my craft and I work on my craft every single day and improve, its bound to happen…”
