Clearly, many are still having a hard time accepting this win for Boity. Other artists who have been mentioned as being more deserving compared to Boity are like Moozlie and Hanna and Faith K. According to tweeps, Boityβs win was apparently out of sympathy and nothing else. Do you agree?
However, despite what the naysayers are claiming, it seems that Boityβs fans have done their very best to drown all that negative energy with messages of love and admiration, as they couldnβt be any happier for her.

Boityβs win has come as really good news for her fans especially seeing that she was never able to bag the Peopleβs Choice awards, that she had been nominated for alongside fellow industry mates like Mihlali Ndamase and Lasizwe Dambuza. Not that she needed an award to affirm the household name that she is in the hip hop industry, but because she deserves every good win that comes her way.
