Cassper Nyovest has denied any affiliations with the so-called illuminati and said he believes in hard work and prayer. His success in the music industry makes some people wonder what exactly does he do to acquire his success. Some were pretty sure that Mufasa is in some sort of cult but he has poured cold water to those "silly" claims.

Cassper is currently nominated at the South African Hip Hop Awards under the Artist Of The Decade category. He is battling it out with the likes of Khuli Chana, Kwesta, Riky Rick, AKA, Nadia Nakai, Da Les, Emtee, K.O, Nasty C Stogie T, A Reece who is currently leading the pack with the most number of votes thus far, Youngsta CPT, Gigi Lamayne and Zakwe.

He asked his fans to vote for him but one follower alleged that he got his money and fame through his supposed affiliations with the illuminati. But Cassper “LOL, well this is silly. I pray for my blessings and I work hard. Simple math. As for things that involve snakes, bafethu, miss me,” he wrote.

Cassper only lives by two things and that is prayer and hard work.

Cassper has time and time again showed how much he is a believer and a person who lives through prayer. Cassper said 2020 has been a tough year and he only survived through God prayer, and his miracles.

“Let me tell you something. Without prayer, God and his miracles, I didn't survive this year. I'm back home in Mahikeng, my cars are taken, my house is auctioned for Sars liabilities, Samro liquidated my company like they tried to, my album is trash and I am depressed. Thank you Jesus!

“That's why I wanna say this very very loud! Thank you Jesus! I saw you working in my life this year saving me scenario after scenario! You are holy! You are great! Kea go tshaba ebile kea go tlotla! O mohau ebile o molemo! Kea leboga Jeso! Ngiyabonga Baba!”

Cassper recently gave the Hip Hop industry a scolding and told the gatekeepers that they are damaging the genre if they continue their gatekeeping.

"These are hip hop kids who chose to explore their talents to the fullest. Why is it a crime ? Hip hop needs to stop excluding itself from the growth of South African music. It's not a competition, it's all the same thing. Embrace the new, learn and feed off one another, or sink," he said responding to a video of Sir Trill rapping.

He and Gigi Lamayne remain the two most vocal artists when it comes to their stance with Hip Hop. When she left she said,  “I am leaving South African Hip Hop, and it’s conventional ways of doing things. I will be experimenting with other genres. King Monada and myself are currently in studio.. a few people from other genres,” she said adding that she wants to explore other genres, and not box herself too much.

"I do feel like the Hip Hop situation in South Africa right now is a little toxic in it's own ways, and not to say I am completely detaching from that, but I am definitely going to be in my own lane," she concluded.

But Gigi has since returned to the game.
