K.O has been consistently working towards making his music career a successful one for 12-years running and while he's currently promoting his two singles - Waya Waya and Fire Emoji featuring Cassper Nyovest and AKA respectively, one can only wonder how he was able to get these two rappers to understand that working together is always for a great cause.
During an interview on Metro FM's Absolut Hip Hop with Lootlove and DJ Speedsta, K.O was asked how both rappers responded to the news that he would work with both of them on his two latest singles.
K.O explained that his main aim was to make both rappers realise that they are stronger as a unit than individuals.
"Me, making that move is just me standing by the fact that we can only be stronger together. Me throwing my hat in the ring on some, yo let's unify, 'cause that's one of the things that made us stronger a couple of years ago. I know that there are things like ego that plays against us but I hope that this sets a dope precedence for the other people in the industry. The culture looks a lot better when we are working together," said K.O
K.O. was then asked how he told both rappers that he was working with them at the same time and he mentioned that he had to be completely honest with the rappers.
"I had to keep it all the way platinum with both homies and make sure that it doesn't come across as tacky on my end. That would've been really crazy."
K.O. further added that both singles were too nice for him not to release at the same time and when both songs were done, Cassper and AKA gave him their blessings which he thinks is the reflection of how much respect both rappers have for him.
