The day is finally here! DJ Fresh will debut his 947 drive show this afternoon at 3pm, and fans are already losing their minds!
Fresh - fondly known as the Big Dawg - has had fans salivating since he announced his new gig at 947 on the 1st of August after he was dismissed by Metro FM last month.
The DJ was suspended from Metro FM back in June for using 'foul language' on-air that resulted in a complaint to the BCCSA. The SABC officially dismissed him last month, leaving a gaping void for the once-popular Fresh breakfast show.
Since making the announcement about his new show #FreshOn947, SA's top jock has had the support of many - including fellow stars.
"Perfect fit! Congrats", exclaimed Bonang in the comments section. J’Something quipped; "Kill it bro" whilst Cassper Nyovest simply posted "Lit". Fellow radio veteran Carol Tshabalala hailed Fresh's new move with endearing words; "Onwards and upwards!"
Fans of Fresh have also wholeheartedly voiced their support of his new move, claiming they would 'follow' him wherever he went..

Now that the day has finally dawned, the countdown is officially on the much-anticipated show. #FreshOn947 is already trending (from early this morning) and fans are wilding out!
