Two hundred guests, two private planes, a lavish ceremony at Sun City; topped off with lots of controversy - the Gupta wedding has had the country enthralled over the past week.
The wedding guest list included Indian and South African celebrities as well as government officials.
President Jacob Zuma was invited but didn't attend as he had other commitments. However, his nephew, Khulubuse Zuma, did attend the multimillion rand wedding.
The Guptas, who reportedly have strong political connections, pulled out all the stops to ensure Vega Gupta and Aakash Jahajgarhi's wedding was one not to be missed.
Despite all the careful detail put into the big day, it was marred with controversy. Allegations of sexual assault and racism made headlines.

The City Press reported that a male guest was accused of assaulting a masseuse in his Cascades hotel room.
Black resort staff told the newspaper they were discriminated against.
A Gupta security officer allegedly told waiters they would bring towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste for them to use before serving guests.

While most of the guests have left the country, the debate over their landing at Waterkloof Air Force Base rages on.
It seems South Africans will be talking about the wedding for weeks to come.
