Recently, Bianca conducted an interview speaking on the effects this has had on her overall career. A fact which would be believed to have brought her empathisers. However, this was not the case, as Chris Excel’s over 1.6 million followers pledged their allegiance to the account in spite of the emotional and professional damage it has cost Coster.
Surprisingly, one of the ZAlebs to have added their two cents was Heavy K, who initially seemed to support Chris Excel and his actions.
Heavy K defends Chris Excel and Nota
In what is matter best left alone if your name is not in it, Heavy K opted to add his two cents as he took to Twitter to tweet what was read as support for Chris Excel and Nota Baloyi, despite their very misogynistic and hateful posts.
Heavy K made it clear that when he was receiving backlash over the allegations of being a deadbeat parent. Chris Excel and Nota were vocal about their support. As such, it seems that he felt compelled to speak out against the backlash that the two accounts have been receiving of late.
But it did not take long for his comments section to be filled with comments expressing their disappointment with Heavy K’s stance which seemed to disregard Bianca’s call for help to get Chris Excel to stop using her image as his profile picture.
Safe to say, in seeing this, Heavy K seemed to have noticed that his initial tweet might have long-reaching implications for his own career. This is as he might be misconstrued to seem that he is in support of men who have repeatedly been misogynistic and blatantly women-hating on social media.
As such, he started to backtrack from the initial tweet. First, by creating a thread with the first tweet. The rest of the thread added:
“Some of y’all have fathers, brothers, sisters, friends who are killers, rapists, robbers, abusers, drug addicts, fraudsters but still love them right and protect them when it’s necessary? Before judging me for acknowledging the positive side of things from these “vile human beings.”"
But this failed to land how Heavy K might have intended it. As such, he all but folded completely from his initial tweet. This is as his next tweet was directed at Chris Excel and echoed the sentiments shared by most of social media that is not in support of Chris Excel using someone’s image without their permission, which was to ask him to take it down…
