The Sbali hitmaker shook the masses when he aired out his issues with Ambitiouz and the people in charge of paying him for his feature on Imali Eningi.
He even made claims that he gets paid R3 700 every month from the label which is not enough to sustain him and his family. He broke many hearts when he said he will be quitting music but has backtracked on his decision.
Releasing a statement just recently, Intaba said he has parted ways with Ambitiouz and holds no resentment towards the label. He began his statement thanking people for their support during his difficult time, "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my supporters for the support, my family, close friends, The taxi owners, taxi drivers, Promoters, music industry colleagues and the Media Houses."
He then made the big announcement, “Would also like to announce that me and Ambitiouz Entertainment have parted ways. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity and platform they gave me when no one did. Like I said before I am not fighting anyone or Ambitiouz, I don’t like uncertainty. I Almost gave up on music because I was not paid what I deserve and what I worked hard for,” he wrote.
He said he was very disappointed to have worked so hard only to earn a measly R3700. But he said his anger will not cloud his love for music.
“Last year I was depressed and frustrated because I was gigging almost every weekend, but come month end I get paid R3,700? After being in-depth reflection on my career, I won’t quit music, I love it and I am passionate about it, most importantly that’s the only source I have to feed my family.”
“I will continue to release beautiful new music under my new Record label 3.7 Entertainment.” The shade!
He has gained support from fans who said he made the right decision as some have been warning him about this. A few days ago, Intaba said he was heartbroken to see Big Zulu getting all the money while he was broke.
“Nothing in this world beats the pain of watching another man gain a lot of money from your hard work, while you are broke. I’m sorry but I hate features with all of my heart. Coz you have to act like we are all ok while only an individual is…” he claimed. “Mali Eningi has reached over 12 Million streams. But I’m broke. Never got even R1.”
This made social media users very angry because Ambitiouz has always been at the centre of disputes. Distancing himself though was Big Zulu who said Intaba Yase Dubai must take it up with his label and not him, as he has fulfilled his duties where payments are concerned.
"I just thought I should fix this issue regarding Intaba Yase Dubai. My record label did everything in the right way. He knows who he signed what with who so he should go to his record label Ambitiouz Entertainment and ask them about this. My record label is not involved in this," he wrote separately as he shared his statement.
