Growing up, one of the most difficult aspects of life is having to deal with the relentless and dehumanising bullying other children and in some cases adults. Most people have experienced some bullying in their lives even some of our favourite ZAlebs who seemingly have it all.
Take a look at some of the stars who have opened up about their experiences:
Makgotso M
In an interview on Afternoon express, Makgotso reflected on her life talking about being bullied after moving to England and being bullied on social media as a star.
“It was actually very traumatising for me when I first moved to England, I got picked on and I got bullied at school, after a while I got used to life in England, but I’ve always wanted to come back home,” she said.

In an interview with Anele Mdoda, the star got candid about being bullied in high school because of her famous mom, "I'm going to be very honest with you, there were also struggles of bullying around that time. Yeah, so you in this space as a kid were you trying to hone this creativity that you got but you also have challenges because your mom (Kg Moeketsi) is quite big and other children don't know how to deal with that."
Gigi Lamayne
After Gigi Lamayne posted a picture of herself on social media, tweeps came after her for her appearance and she defended herself with a lengthy thread.

In recent months, Lady Zamar has been relentlessly bullied because of her fashion sense. In a recent interview with YFM, she hit back the bullies, "First of all, people need to stop dragging me for what I wear. Like, I am not going to dress the way you want me to. When it comes to performances, we will give them what they want. When it comes to public appearances, I will give you what you want. When I'm at home, doing my thing, it's not your place," she said in part.
