'Shoes' was 49 at the time of his passing.
Moshoeu enjoyed a glittering career in the game of football, starring in both South Africa and Europe. 'Shoes' played for the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, AmaZulu, and Turkish side Fenerbahçe, and was in the Bafana Bafana side which won the 1996 African Cup of Nations. Moshoeu played in 73 matches for the national team between 1993 and 2004.
'Shoes' was a fan favourite wherever he played, with his skill on the ball exceptional.
