King Tee Dee's Biggest Event Gets Cancelled

The Coronavirus pandemic has resulted in a lot of events being canceled so that health guidelines to help avoid the spread of the virus are exercised. The latest event to get axed is the Standard Bank 09 Music Festival (SB09MF) and Award-winning artist King Tee Dee took to his Instagram account to share the news.

Dubbed as one of the biggest events on the music scene, this event has attracted over 20 000 Namibian music lovers and has created a sense of unity through the celebration of Namibian artists and sports through its 7-a-side soccer tournament. This event has collaborated with foreign artists including Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania during its first edition held on the 29th of September 2019.

The event was launched in the capital in March with much hope that the pandemic would have eased within six months of the announcement, however, Mshasho management has prioritized the health and safety of Namibian lives.
