The Real Housewives of Durban has released the eighth episode of the third season. The episode focussed on the second and third days of the housewives’ trip to the Drakensberg, and it delivered the drama. More so as some seemed to have felt that the previous episode did not give what they expected.

As such, the episode was picked from the second dinner with the cast. When the previous episode ended, Jojo Robinson was bringing up her assumptions that she believed that some of the ladies were accusing her of having a drinking problem, specifically, Annie.
But this time it seems that Jojo picked on the wrong one following her dramatic, but repeated stunt.

Jojo throws another drink and plays the victim
In an attempt to highlight how Annie and Sorisha have turned against her in the latest season of RHOD, Jojo brought up the assumption that she believes that the two have been suggesting that she has a drinking problem. But it seems that Jojo chose the wrong one to pick on as she pointed at Annie as the instigator of the rumour.
Annie, who is continually referred to as the “mean girl,” made it clear that Jojo was blowing the matter out of proportion. Moreover, that she was not going to apologise to Jojo despite Jojo asking for an apology for a rumour that she started and paddled.
Instead of moving on, Jojo then started to throw a tantrum as she started shouting at Annie and Sorisha. However, Annie remained cool and steadfast that she is not going to give Jojo any kind of apology. This was when Jojo decided to start shouting uncontrollably and throw a drink in her “frustration.”
She then stormed out of the dinner and started crying. Of course, some of the ladies followed her to try and calm her down. But Jojo instead decided to leave the trip she was hosting in the morning as her husband Calven fetched her, leaving the ladies to fend for themselves.
Viewers were quick to call out Jojo for her melodramatic behaviour considering that she was the one who created the assumption that Annie and Sorisha do not like her, and that is the reason they have suggested she is an alcoholic. Moreover, Jojo’s affinity to playing the victim despite being the chief instigator in most of these circumstances was commented on.
This is as this is not the first time that Jojo has used the drinking throwing as an opportunity to create a moment. Back in season two, Jojo left a sour taste in the mouths of viewers when she did almost the same thing to Mabusi Seme only to play victim at the end.
Particularly, when she offered Mabusi an apology during the season two reunion suggesting that she did not mean to throw the drink and accidentally tripped. This was despite viewers seeing that Jojo had consciously thrown the drink at Mabusi at the time, which many believed gave either racist or classist undertones.
