The singer would also like to shield her son from all that has surrounded Jub Jub throughout the years.

Kelly Khumalo has nothing good to say about Jub Jub. The singer revealed this on the Fresh Breakfast on Friday morning, where she also opened up about losing Senzo Meyiwa

Kelly was speaking about the fact that she'd love to tell her kids about their fathers, however, when it comes to Jub Jub, it seems like it's a difficult topic. Kelly and the rapper, who was released from prison early this year, have a son together named Christian

Jub Jub and his co-accused Themba Tshabalala were convicted back in 2012 for crashing their cars into a group of school children. They were allegedly high on drugs when the incident, which killed several children, took place.

"How do you tell a seven-year-old that this is what I went through with your father? Because I'd like to paint a perfect picture for him but it's not there," she said on the show.

She explained that she doesn't want to deprive her son of a relationship with his father. "I want him when he's old enough to decide whether he wants a relationship with him or not. But at this particular time, it's my duty as the mother to protect my son from that person. I don't know who he is now, and I don't wish to know who he is now, but based on what I know of him, I would like to protect my son from that person. "

The singer made it clear that that relationship is just not happening right now.

"For now, I've shut the door. The man that I know is not deserving of raising a son of mine... I'm not saying I'm perfect, I'm far from being perfect, but I'm trying my best to raise an honorable man out of that boy."
