Londie recently joined the second season of the Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) and she is the content that Mzansi signed up for. Ever since the show premiered it has been leaving viewers on the edge of their seats. Mzansi is intrigued by the drama and the false love the housewives exhibit towards each other.
Londie topped the Twitter trends list today following her awkward exchange with Nonku Williams. This comes after Nonku had told Annie that Londie does not look like her Instagram snaps. This ruffled Londie's feathers and she decided to confront Nonku during an event she hosted at her home.
Londie asked her what she meant by that and Nonku said she looks different in real person than her Instagram account, thinking that she might be using too many filters to appear beautiful.
Annie has won the hearts of viewers with her ability to create more drama on the show. There is a perception that she is not someone to gossip with because she will throw you under the bus.
Last week she was dragged for always questioning Nonkanyiso Chonco about her relationship with former SA president Jacob Zuma. Jojo Robinson invited them to her house for the cake decorating gathering, where she decorated a messy LaConco cake. Each housewife was required to decorate a cake that embodies the personality of another housewife and Annie's cake was a complete disaster.
Since she is always concerned about her love life, many believed she had some ill feelings towards LaConco. Taking to her Instagram account to apologize she said she had good intentions but the results didn't pan out.
"I won’t lie I’m so shitty at domestic tasks (like cake decorating) but put me in a boardroom and you’ll see magic," she said.
"I'm sorry LaC I swear I had good intentions it just didn’t translate. I really have so much more respect for people who bake those gorgeous and artistic cakes, it’s really a skill I used to undermine."
"And honestly my spiciness is not more than my competitiveness. I really like winning wayyy more. So this was a blow to me," she ended her statement
After being continuously asked about her love life which is a sensitive and private issue to LaConco. She ended up opening up about how her relationship with Zuma ended and left Mzansi reaching to the tissues. She said she respected the love they shared but unfortunately people interfered and ruined it.
"The position I am in… I found love and I stayed true to that love. But unfortunately, there were people who had an interest in that love and made it a public thing when it was not my intention,” she said.
