Mpho Letsholonyane has landed herself in hot water after posting a video that many have found to be offensive and promoting tribalism.
The Supersport presenter posted a Mdu Comic Izikhokho Show cartoon, on her Twitter account, that shows a character called Jesus who is told by the doctor that DNA results prove that he is not God's son, but rather a Shangaan. The Jesus character is seen attempting to scub/wash away his 'Shangaanness' at home before trying to commit suicide.
Mpho's tweet did not land, as many Tweeps felt that by posting it, she was in agreement with what the video suggested - which is that 'being Shangaan is worse than death.'
After major tongue lashing, the Metro FM sportscaster deleted the video and apologized.
"My intention was never to hurt anyone. It’s an old video. Didn’t put any thought into it because Mdu was on the TL and I came across the vid and reposted. An error in judgement on my part. It’s now delete off my TL
Apologies for hurting/insulting you. It was not intentional." she tweeted.

But it was too little too late, as attacks on her were being issued from all corners and she found herself trending at number 1 with some calling for Metro FM to discipline her.
But others felt that the outrage was misplaced because the video is over 5 years old and many have been laughing at it anyway.
