ETV Scandal viewers have been anticipating the downfall of the soapie's villain - Mthunzi Mayiza for quite some time.

This week many were watching the soapie at the edges of their seats as they expected Mthunzi to receive a harsh sentence for his crimes.

However, to the viewer's disappointment, Mthunzi played by Bongile Mantsai got away with it again, and this did not sit well with many viewers who have gone to accuse the character of threatening the writers and the producers of the soapie.

Here is what they had to say.

Viewers of the soapie are experiencing emotional turmoil over this Mthunzi situation. We also find it hilarious to see that some of the viewers are just itching to deal with the writers of the soapie should they get the chance to meet them in person.

One thing we've come to realise is that the concept of the die-hard villain is not a foreign concept to writers and producers of soapies.

For example, in Generations The Legacy, Jack Mabaso is one character that tends to always win. In Rhythm City there is David Genaro, In Isidingo The Need, Lincoln Sibeko is untouchable to mention but just a few.

Mthunzi however, has got nine lives and might not be going anywhere anytime soon, and we all need to take a chill pill, but we hope that ETV Scandal producers will do something before their fans suffocate in anxiety.
