Nico Matlala was thrust into the spotlight when he was dating KB and after their relationship ended. The businessman has dated a slew of famous women including Palesa Madisakwane and Lebo Mabe.
According to several reports, Nico was allegedly arrested for defrauding a municipality in 2016.
In an article on Sowetan, the paper reported that Hawks spokesperson Hlangelani Rikhotso confirmed that a fraud case was open. The paper then went on to say that the businessman would remain in custody and will appear for a bail hearing at the Klerksdorp magistrate court on March 20.
This is not the first time Nico has allegedly found himself on the wrong side of the law. In January 2018, Sunday Sun reported that Nico sold his luxurious Mercedes Benz and allegedly stole it back a week later. The paper alleged that the victim opened a theft case at the Douglasdale Police Station.
